Ksubi went from the Land Down Under to Europe for its latest offering, as the Australian label just unveiled Ksubi KSelvedge: a premium selvedge denim range made with European fabrics and manufactured in Portugal.
Ksubi collaborated with three European denim mills, including Isko in Turkey, Troficolour in Portugal and Candiani in Milan, for the collection.
Using heritage milling techniques, the Candiani fabrics were made on old-school shuttle looms, a time-intensive process that yields long-lasting denim finished with selvedge’s classic self-edge. Each piece is finished by hand to integrate Ksubi’s signature, “beautifully imperfect” style.
The collection introduces new styles across Ksubi’s signature fits, including the slim Chitch and the relaxed straight Hazlow and Anti K. In addition to raw indigo and raw black denim, KSelvedge offers five new hues, with each wash paying homage to the communities that house Ksubi’s hubs: New York black, Chicago black, LA blue, Sydney blue, Melbourne blue and artist blue.
Each piece features exclusive branding, including the brand’s beloved pocket tag—which has been reworked in a custom two-tone design as a nod to the selvedge stitch. A black debossed Ksubi KSelvedge “Made in Europe” swing tag serves as a “seal of authenticity on these collectible pieces,” the A$AP-endorsed brand said.
The collection launches with a campaign featuring Los Angeles skateboarder Erik Ellington and Thrasher magazine frequenter Davey Sayles on the streets of Milan. Shot by Australian photographer Andrew Peters, the campaign “explored the intersection of street culture and luxury from an outsider’s perspective,” the streetwear-slash-denim brand said. Styled with a folded hem, highlighting the signature selvedge self-edge, the denim was paired with Ksubi’s Spring 2025 collection for an “elevated look.”
Ksubi KSelvedge is available now on Ksubi’s website and flagships in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and London, as well as the newest additions to Ksubi’s global store network in Sydney and Melbourne.
