Here’s a quick roundup of the latest news from leading denim brands.
Dovetail Workwear has a new way to keep jeans in rotation.
The woman-owned and designed brand unveiled a collaboration with NoSo Patches, the maker of heat-activated fabric patches. The Dovetail Workwear x NoSo collection of patches are made from deadstock Dovetail fabrics, repurposed in a range of sizes and designs inspired by the brand’s most popular styles.
The partnership aims to “transform clothing repairs from a chore into a creative expression” and “breathe new life into well-loved work pants, jackets, and gear with a distinctive touch that celebrates each article’s unique journey of wear and resilience,” Dovetail stated.
The peel-and-stick patches only require heat to set them permanently. The garments can be tossed in the dryer or left in the sun for 15 minutes, or blast with a hairdryer for 30 seconds.
The collection offers eight patch options, retailing for $10.99 each. Designs span Wabash stripe canvas sunblade patches to black denim pocket patches to gray canvas and indigo denim patches in the shape of Dovetail’s dove logo.

Calvin Klein unveiled its newest campaign with K-pop star Mingyu of the boy band Seventeen
The 27-year-old singer and rapper brings a casual and youthful aesthetic to the brand’s Spring 2025 jeans. Directed and shot by Leslie Zhang, the campaign highlights the singer’s “effortless style in denim classics with a bold twist,” the brand stated.
The campaign showcases Calvin Klein’s popular 90s Straight Jeans. Styled in four different outfits, one pair revives logomania with a new allover CK monogram. The print is replicated on a matching 90s Trucker jacket.
Other jeans include a black 90s Straight styled with a relaxed archive logo tee and faded blue Icon Trucker jacket, an ultra-light pair with a sporty cotton T-shirt; and a dark wash pair with a classic cotton tank and denim overshirt.

Denham linked up with The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London for a second art-inspired collection.
The collection reflects Denham’s “East meets West philosophy” through designs inspired by Japanese woodblock printing from the Ukiyo-e era, which flourished from the 17th through 19th centuries. Ukiyo-e storytelling is known for prints and paintings of female figures, kabuki actors, sumo wrestler, scenes from history and folk tales, travel scenes and landscapes, flora and fauna and more, Denham stated.
The capsule collection offers an array of men’s and women’s tees featuring traditional Japanese prints of flying birds and clouds, a woodblock print from the series “Lens onto the Human Heart” by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, a color woodblock print of Bandō Shūka from “The Fifty-three Stations on the Way from the East” by Kunisada Utagawa and more.
A men’s boxy button-down chambray shirt has an all-over Ukiyo-e skull print. A pleated chino crafted from rigid selvedge denim with an indigo rinse is also part of the line.

Soft fabrics and relaxed fits are at the center of Gap’s new campaign called “Feels like Gap.
The Spring 2024 campaign starring “White Lotus” actress Parker Posey is a “tribute to effortless self-expression with a collection of soft, elevated product essentials designed to inspire personal style,” the retailer stated. The campaign includes a 90-second spot with Parker moving freely alongside a diverse group of dancers, set to the song, “Mama’s Eyes” by pop artist Mette.
“When I got to work for the Gap on this shoot, it reminded me of my early days being carefree and comfortable in clothes, and dancing how we wanted,” Posey said. “I was inspired to see the next generation keeping that spirit alive—it was cool and optimistic.”
Gap’s spring collection brings a fresh perspective to everyday dressing with bestselling fabrics lie UltraSoft denim and VintageSoft sweats. Key denim items include the UltraSoft carpenter jean, the Denim Big Shirt and the Relaxed Icon denim jacket—a roomier take on its bestselling Icon jacket.
