Tonello is applying its expertise in energy efficient technology to a new category: industrial dryers.
The sustainable laundry technology company introduced its first line of eight dryers designed and built entirely in-house. The dryers are powered by energy-saving systems, incorporating advanced automation, intelligent software, and innovative solutions that reduce energy consumption while ensuring exceptional drying quality.
Additionally, Tonello said the dryers are heat pump-ready, making them compatible with heat pump integration for significant improvements in energy efficiency and emissions reduction compared to traditional heating technologies.
“We’re setting a new standard in industrial drying with a versatile range of dryers built to meet every production need. Whether for small-batch sampling or large-scale manufacturing, our models combine efficiency, precision, and sustainability, delivering smarter drying with greater savings,” the company stated.
The range includes the TD 50 and TD 100, both solutions for sampling and small production. Available with steam, electric or gas heating, the dryers feature a fixed structure with a manual-opening door.
The Tonello TD 150 dryer is the largest in the range dedicated to sampling and small production. It is available in the automatic tilting version for garment unloading.
For medium production runs, Tonello offers the TD 250 and TD 330 dryers. Available with steam or gas heating and in the variant with diathermic oil heating, the dryers can be configured in the automatic tilting version for garment unloading, for garment loading and unloading, or with double doors.
The TD 400, TD 500, and TD 600 dryers are designed for large-scale productions.
The dryers are equipped with touchscreen panels with real-time data display. Their high-permeability drums speed up drying by up to 20 percent. Insulation and heat recovery systems can reduce steam consumption by over 20 percent and improve thermal efficiency.
The range is also compatible with Tonello software including Metro, a digital platform that measures the laundry’s actual consumption, and Guardian, a proactive maintenance system that monitors Tonello machines.
The Italian company is busy expanding its product lines. Last month Tonello announced the acquisition of Flainox, a dyeing machinery manufacturer in Quaregna Cerreto, Italy. The acquisition enhances Tonello’s position in the dyeing industry, broadening its range of specialized solutions to better address the demands of an ever-changing market.
