South Carolina has won two of the last three NCAA titles and enters this year’s Tournament as the favorite, despite losing to UCLA, Texas and UConn this season.
Last year, the Gamecoks entered the Tournament undefeated and finished that way, knocking off Cailtin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the championship.
A close second behind South Carolina is UConn. Its three losses this season came at the hands of Notre Dame, USC and Tennessee.
Both South Carolina and UConn are 1-seeds, alongside UCLA and USC. The Trojans defeated the Bruins twice in the regular season before UCLA got its revenge in the Big Ten Championship Game.
